More than a decade ago, automobile industry were largely depending on prototype testing to ensure safety and durability of their models. Prototypes were built, tested, optimized and again tested to ensure the quality and safety. But with the introduction of CAE or computer aided engineering, now a virtual model is developed on which over 90% of the testing is carried out to identify the right design for performing the prototype testing. This has very much influenced the entire industry as with this multiple factors like cost, time etc were reduced which in turn helped in optimizing the models to multiple levels.

Now we are in a period where most of the automobile companies are demanding multiple software products or solutions like AI, predictive analysis etc to simulate and automate the entire product life cycle.
